On the morning of April 19, a delegation from Sault College of Canada,headed byPresidentRonald Common and Vice President Colin Kirkwood, paid a visit to NYNU. A symposium hosted by Cao Luman, Director of the International Exchange and Cooperate Center, was held in the conference room of the Office Building. Vice President Kan Yunchao and officials from related schools attended the meeting.

Kan Yunchao extended warm welcome to the delegation and gave a brief introduction of NYNU from perspectives of history and faculty, construction of laboratories and basic facilities, circumstances of education and teaching as well as status quo of internationalized development and cooperation. Ronald Common expressed his congratulations on the achievements received at NYNU and gave an introduction to the advantages of Sault College including characteristics of discipline and modes of cultivation. Colin Kirkwood had a deep and detailed discussion with related officials from NYNU about programs of course joint, credit transfer, cooperative education and the like.
The symposium was concluded with both sides exchanging souvenirs. After the meeting, the delegation, accompanied by related officials from International Exchange and Cooperate Center, visited facilities of NYNU including the Library, Gymnasium, Feature Pavilions and Automation Lab at the School of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
