On the afternoon of May 5, a delegation from Hubei University of Arts and Science, led by President Ding Shixue and Deputy Party Secretary Wang Huakai, made an observation tour for exchange at NYNU. A symposium was held in the conference room of the Office Building. Wang Liya, President of NYNU, presided over the symposium, which related officials from President's Office, Dean's Office, Scientific Research Office and Nanyang Institute of Development Strategy at NYNU also attended.

Wang Liya extended warm welcome to the delegation and provided detailed introduction to the implementation and achievement of current transformation development at NYNU.  As Hubei University of Arts and Science held the annual rotating presidency of the Hanjing League of Universities, Wang Huakai reported the resolution of the first meeting held by the Executive Committee and the Secretariat of the League as well as how its internal affairs were progressing in 2016. Moreover, construction and following project of the League were under thorough discussion, which led to a consensus between the two universities.
