On April 26, NYNU was awarded two titles of honor, Top Ten Model Universities of Innovative Undertaking and Model University of Most Brand Influence, at the Seventh Summit Forum for Innovative Model of Henan Higher Education, which is hosted by Henan Daily in Zhengzhou.

At the forum, over 180 leading experts and representatives from colleges and polytechnic schools made in-depth communication and discussion on theme of Innovation Drive and Brand Influence.

It was reported that over two hundred educational institutions at all levels participated in the Poll launched in this March, more than one million readers and netizens took part in the voting, and related leaders and renowned experts made democratic assessment and evaluation on the qualifications of participant schools and the votes of enthusiastic readers, which made the event arouse widely public attention from all walks of life in Henan province.
