On May 15, the 6th China Rare Earth Luminescence Youth Academic Forum was held in Nanyang. The forum was jointly organized by the Professional Committee of Luminescence of CSRE(The Chinese Society of Rare Earths), Yunnan Key Laboratory of New Materials Preparation and Processing of Kunming University of Science and Technology, and Nanyang Normal University. More than 150 experts and scholars from 60 scientific research institutions and universities attended the meeting.

This forum focused on hot and difficult front issues in the field of rare earth luminescence, put forward solutions to key scientific issues in rare earth luminescence, and provided an open academic platform for experts and young scholars in the corresponding field to exchange academic ideas and research results.

During the conference, nearly 20 experts and scholars made wonderful reports on the hot and difficult issues in the current academic frontier of rare earth luminescence, and carried out in-depth academic exchanges and discussions. The successful holding of the forum has promoted the academic exchange and cooperation between national key universities and research institutes and our university, which is conducive to promoting the rapid development of materials discipline in our university.
