On November 21, International Office (School of International Education) organized our international teachers and students to carry out the red education studies, walking in Nanyang.
The international teachers and students visited Wuhou Temple, Zhang Zhongjing Museum(Memorial Temple to the Medical Sage), Nanyang Fuya and Meicheng Park. In Wuhou Temple, they knew that everything there, including the trees, bricks and tiles, contains the stories thousands of years ago, and memories of the embodiment of wisdom, symbol of loyalty, Zhuge Liang. In Zhang Zhongjing Museum, they learned about Zhang Zhongjing’s deep love for his family and his country, Treatises on Cold Pathogenic and Miscellaneous Diseases and other medical works, the development history of the traditional Chinese medicine culture. They realized the long history of Chinese culture and the diligence and wisdom of the Chinese nation. Nanyang Fuya is an outstanding representative of Chinese Fuya culture during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. And Meicheng Park is a representative of the thick wall culture of Nanyang. The teachers and students highly appreciated the historical, cultural, artistic, scientific values, and were deeply impressed by the historical and cultural charm of Nanyang.
The purpose of this activity was to enrich the second class of foreign teachers and students and cultivate international talents who know China, love China, and are friendly to China as a bridge between China and the world.
