On the morning of January 7th, Lu Zhiwen, Secretary of the Party Committee of NYNU, Zhang Baofeng, President of NYNU, and Liu Honglin, Vice President of NYNU paid a visit to the international student residential hall, accompanied by relevant personnel from President’s Office, Logistics Management and Service Center and International Office.

The university leaders firstly came to the lobby on the first floor of the 11th residential hall in the west campus to check the distribution map of the dormitories and the usage of the monitoring system. Later, the university leaders entered the student dormitory on the sixth floor. They talked with the students, inquired about their living, learning, and requirements, encouraged them to study Chinese culture and professional knowledge diligently, asked them to do well in epidemic prevention, do exercises, and keep an optimistic and positive attitude. The university leaders gave full recognition to the Chinese traditional culture wall and honor wall designed by School of International Education, asked carefully about the number of international students, student management, students’ catering during the summer holiday, and checked the facilities such as fire protection and balcony guardrail on site.

Finally, the leaders and the students took a photo together.
