From June 14 to 15, in order to do a good job in the prevention and control of the epidemic and safety management for the international students living on campus in the summer vacation, Vice President Liu Honglin paid a visit to the international students, accompanied by heads of Admission Office and other relevant personnel of Student Affairs Office, Logistics Management and Service Center, International Office (School of International Education) .
Liu Honglin visited 16 international students in the 11th residential hall in the west campus. Liu asked for details of the usage of the smart dormitory system, international students’ vacation plans, their learning, catering, time limitation in China, their majors, graduation time and career planning, etc. Liu hoped they would abide by the university epidemic prevention policy, take personal protection during the holiday, and meanwhile learn Chinese culture and professional knowledge to serve as bridges of cultural exchanges between China and other countries.
During the visit, Liu required relevant departments to ensure the international students’ health and safety, living service, food safety, strengthen their safety education, especially in electricity usage, fraud prevention, and personal safety, and provide all kinds of services during the holiday.
