In order to enhance the exchange and cooperation of higher education between China and Russia, innovate the talent training mode and cultivate high-quality international innovative talents, NYNU held a video signing ceremony with V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute in the east meeting room on the first floor of Office Building on the afternoon of June 16. Rector Anatolii Liubavind, Vice Rector Lgor Gorbatyuk, Head of Teaching Affairs Office Zenkova Svetlana, Head of International Student Services Elena Guseva from V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute, President Zhang Baofeng, Vice President Liu Honglin and Vice President Xiong Xinzhong of NYNU attended the meeting. Heads from International Office, School of Arts and Design, School of Jewelry and Jade Carvings attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Liu Honglin.
Zhang Baofeng introduced the university-running characteristics and advantages of NYNU. Zhang pointed out that Nanyang Normal University attaches great importance to the international development of higher education, adheres to the opening of education to the world, introduces high-quality foreign educational resources, and looks forward to exploring and innovating talent training mode together with V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute to implement the cooperation between the two universities.
Liubavin introduced V. Surikov Moscow State Academy Art Institute and said that he would actively promote the cooperation in student exchanging, teacher training, academic cooperation, scientific research cooperation and management visits, etc.
The presidents of the two universities signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both sides through the video meeting.
