In order to further promote international education, expand cooperation channels, and deepen Sino-French cultural exchanges, a symposium on cooperation between NYNU and the Paris Mod Art International was held on the morning of June 14th in the conference room on the second floor of the Office Building. Patrick Kouzmine-Karavaieff, Chairman of the Mod Art International in Paris, Chai Liwei, Executive Dean of the Sino-French Efi Fashion Designer College at Shanghai University of Engineering Science, Vice President Liu Honglin of our school, and relevant responsible comrades from the School of Arts and Design, and the International Office attended this symposium.

During the symposium, Liu Honglin, Vice President of our school, welcomed the delegation led by Patrick Kouzmine-Karavaieff, Chairman of the Paris Mod Art International. Liu expressed Nanyang Normal Universitys willingness to promote cultural exchanges and mutual learning between China and France. He also hoped to strengthen talent exchanges between the two countries through educational cooperation in order to promote cultural integration and mutual understanding.

Patrick Kouzmine-Karavaieff expressed his gratitude for the warm reception at our school and showed great interest in initiating substantial cooperation with the relevant majors of the School of Arts and Design. By combining the fashion resources and educational strengths of both universities, more outstanding fashion designers and talents in the fashion industry would be cultivated.

During the symposium, both parties had in-depth consultations on student exchanges, teacher training, scientific research cooperation, and academic exchanges.

After the meeting, Zhang Baofeng, the Party Secretary of the university, met and exchanged views with Patrick Kouzmine-Karavaieff and his delegation. Zhang expressed his hope to carry out substantial cooperation with the Paris Mod Art International to inject new vitality into the cultural exchanges between China and France.

Patrick Kouzmine-Karavaieff and his team had an in-depth exchange with the faculty and students of the School of Arts and Design. They shared the talent cultivation experience and educational philosophy of the Paris Mod Art International.
