On the afternoon of January 2nd, in order to introduce high-quality educational resources from abroad and enhance the capability of our university in scientific research and international talent cultivation, our university held a demonstration meeting on Sino-Foreign cooperation in running schools in the east conference room on the first floor of the Office Building. Vice President Liu Honglin attended the meeting and delivered a speech. Heads of relevant functional offices and relevant schools attended the meeting.
Liu Honglin pointed out that the university’s party committee has consistently placed a high value on collaborative efforts with foreign institutions and promulgated a multitude of supportive policies to encourage each secondary school to actively submit and undertake the establishment and development of joint international education projects and institutions. The successful submission of applications has established a platform for teacher cultivation and student exchange, thereby augmenting the globalization caliber of our faculty and enhancing the quality of international education for our students. Liu Honglin emphasized that in 2024, on the basis of the existing basic framework of international exchanges and cooperation, we need to further enrich the connotation and form of international exchanges and cooperation, make the work of Sino-foreign cooperative school-running projects solid, create high-quality projects and characteristics, enhance the level of openness and expand the development space.
The meeting introduced the plan and background information on the declaration of the 2024 Chinese-foreign cooperative school projects of the university, as well as the details of the setting of foreign majors of the proposed cooperative projects. Functional offices and relevant second-level schools demonstrated the necessity and feasibility of the projects.
