In order to strengthen the communication between Chinese and foreign teachers and students in our university, and further promote the construction goal of “improving quality and efficiency, improving management and distinctive characteristics” of our university’s international education, on the afternoon of December 28, our university held a tea party for foreign teachers and students to welcome the New Year in the east conference room on the first floor of the Office Building. Vice President Liu Honglin attended, and heads of relevant functional offices and schools, representatives of foreign teachers, representatives of international students and all staff of the International Office attended the meeting. The tea party was presided over by Cao Luman, director of the International Office.
Liu Honglin delivered a speech, welcoming foreign teachers and students to work and study in Nanyang Normal University, thanking everyone for their positive contributions to the international development of Nanyang Normal University, and introducing the achievements of the university’s international development in recent years. He pointed out that the university’s international level of running has entered a new era, and the purpose of to hold this tea party is to welcome the New Year, talk about friendship and seek development. He hoped that everyone would make suggestions and suggestions for the development of the university, and put forward constructive suggestions on teaching, management and service.

Foreign teachers and students spoke in turn. They fully affirmed the teaching, management and service level of the university, and agreed that it was pleasant and comfortable to work and study in Nanyang Normal University. At the same time, they put forward reasonable suggestions on the teaching facilities, teaching and living environment, teaching methods and cultural and sports activities of the university.
In response to the opinions and suggestions put forward by foreign teachers and students, Liu Honglin communicated and coordinated with the functional offices and secondary schools on the spot and promised to strive to solve the problems as soon as possible and provide a better working, learning and living environment for everyone.
