In order to display the achievements of our university’s international education, create a good atmosphere for international students to study, and enrich the extracurricular cultural life of international students, the third “Read, Understand China and Perceive Nanyang Normal University” Sinology Knowledge Competition of international students was held in the conference room on the third floor of the Science &Technology Building on the morning of Nov. 25th.

Heads from the Publicity Office of the Party Committee, the Teaching Affairs Office, International Students Cultivation College, Nanyang Medical College, and Nanyang Zaixin Company served as judges. The event was hosted by the International Office (School of International Education).

This competition included two parts, preliminary and final. After the preliminary competition,  the top three groups from Group A and Group B advanced to the final. The final consisted two sections, according to the final score, ASHIR group, SHYHYYEVA AYJAHAN and DIABATE ABOUBAKAR group, AKTER NIPA group successively won the first, second and third prizes.

Series of competitions such as the sinology knowledge competition has become an important platform for young people from different other countries to learn Chinese language, understand Chinese culture, demonstrate their Chinese language ability and improve their Chinese language level. This event aims to stimulate the enthusiasm of international students to learn Chinese and Chinese cultural knowledge, deepen their cognition and understanding of Chinese Chinese and Chinese culture, inherit friendship, exchange hearts, strive to be friendly messengers of Chinese and foreign exchanges, and make due contributions to the cause of building a community with a shared future for mankind.
