Recently, Xiong Xinzhong, Vice President of NYNU, received a letter from Professor Eusebiu Vlad Goduza, Vice President of Grigory Popa University of Medicine in Romania. In the letter, Professor Goduza expressed his gratitude to Vice President Xiong Xinzhong for his participation in the 8th Conference of the China-CEEC Association of Universities, expressed his deep impression of the exchanges and hoped to maintain a good interactive relationship with our university to promote further substantive cooperation.

It is reported that in order to implement the Bucharest Outline for Cooperation between China and Central and Eastern European Countries, with the strong support of the Ministry of Education of China and the framework of the China-CEEC Education Policy Dialogue, the China-CEEC Association of Universities was formally established in September 2014, which has built an important platform for promoting cooperation between universities in China and CEE countries. On October 30, the 8th Conference of the China-CEEC Association of Universities was successfully held in Romania. More than 80 university leaders and representatives from 32 Chinese universities and 16 universities from CEE countries attended the meeting. Xiong Xinzhong, Vice President of our university, attended the meeting and attended the 2nd China-Romania and China-Greece University Presidents’ Forum and bilateral university fairs.
