On the afternoon of December 21, the second academic lecture series of Nanyang Research Institute of the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences were successfully held. This online meeting was held in the form of Tencent meeting + WeChat video live. Professor Wang Chunyang, director of Office of Nanyang Research Institute of the UCASS and director of Office of Social Science of Nanyang Normal University, and nearly 2,000 teachers from the UCASS and relevant schools of our university and other universities across China participated. Prof. Wang Wei, director of Office of Nanyang Research Institute of the UCASS and director of Research Division of the UCASS, presided over the meeting.

Professor Wang Wei mainly introduced the history of the founding of the UCASS, its characteristic positioning and scientific research innovation, and specifically the organizational structure, academic cooperation and synergy mechanism of Nanyang Research Institute jointly established with Nanyang Normal Unviersity, and believed that through this important cooperation platform, it would provide intellectual support for the social and economic construction of Nanyang and Henan Province.

At the invitation of NYNU, Prof. Chai Baoyong, PhD supervisor of School of Government of the UCASS, gave a tutorial report entitled Declaration and Proof of National Social Science Foundation Projects. Prof. Chai Baoyong shared his valuable experience in the whole process of National Social Science Foundation project declaration, focusing on the methods and practical skills of application writing, and mainly explained the experience of project declaration. The teachers were deeply inspired and benefited a lot.

The successful holding of this special counseling report plays an important role in promoting the enthusiasm of our teachers to declare the National Social Science Foundation projects, optimizing the idea of revising and improving the application forms, and further improving the quality of our teachers’ application forms.
