Speaker: Wang Dan

Time: 8:00-09:00 a.m.

Title: Hollow Multishelled Structure: Synthesis and Applications

Brief Introduction to the speaker: Wang Dan, researcher and doctoral supervisor of Institute of Process Engineering, Chinese Academy of Sciences, recipient of the National Outstanding Young Scientist Fund, expert of the special allowance of the State Council, leader of science and technology innovation in the Ten Thousand People Plan of the Ministry of Organization, leader of science and technology innovation for young and middle-aged people in Ministry of Science and Technology, and candidate of the Hundred People Plan of Chinese Academy of Sciences. He is mainly engaged in the research of synthetic chemistry of inorganic multifunctional structural systems. He has published more than 200 academic papers in prestigious journals such as Nat. Energy, Nat. Chem, Nat. Communications, Chem, J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed. He has won more than 10 awards, including the Second Prize of Science and Technology of Beijing and the First Prize of Natural Science of Chinese Society of Particulates, and has been selected as one of the Highly Cited Scientists by Coreview for five consecutive years. He is currently the fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, the council member of the International Solvent and Thermal Water Association, the executive editor of Chemical Journal of Chinese Universities and Chemical Research Chinese Universities, the associate editor of Materials Chemistry Frontiers, the advisory board member of Energy & Environmental Science, and the advisory board member and editorial board member of various journals.

Speaker: Yin Longwei

Time: 9:00-10:00 a.m.

Title: Bifunctional Catalytic Electrode Materials for Lithium-oxygen Batteries

Brief Introduction to the speaker: Prof. Longwei Yin is the doctoral supervisor in School of Materials Science and Engineering of Shandong University, the recipient of the National Outstanding Young Scientists Fund, the special allowance expert of the State Council, and the candidate of the National New Century Hundred Million Talents Project and Mount Tai Climbing Talents Program in Shandong Province. He is mainly engaged in the research of energy storage and conversion materials design and device performance. He has presided over more than 20 projects at the national and provincial level, and has been invited to give more than 50 academic presentations at large international conferences. In recent years, he has published more than 200 papers in Nature Mater., Nature Comm., EES, Adv. Mater., J. Am. Chem. Soc., etc. He is currently the director of Chinese Materials Research Society, Chinese Electron Microscopy Society, and the executive director of Chinese Society for Stereology.

Speaker: Wang Chengxin

Title: Lithium-ion Battery Anode Materials with High Initial Efficiency

Brief Introduction to the speaker: Prof. Wang Chengxin is the doctoral supervisor of State Key Laboratory of Optoelectronic Materials and Technologies, Sun Yat-sen University, director of Office of Academic Style Construction of Sun Yat-sen University, recipient of the National Outstanding Youth Science Fund, expert of the special allowance of the State Council, New Century Excellent Talents Support Program of the Ministry of Education and Thousand Hundred and Ten Project of Guangdong Higher Education Institution. He has been selected as one of the provincial candidates for the Thousand Hundred Ten Project of Guangdong Higher Education Institution. He is mainly engaged in the research of nanoenergy storage materials, optoelectronic nanomaterials, and the theory and application of IV main group elements nanomaterials. He has published more than 300 SCI-indexed papers in Nat. Comm., Adv. Mater., J. Am. Chem. Soc., Angew. Chem. Int. Ed., Nano Letters, ACS Nano, etc. He has been awarded the Second Prize of National Natural Science and the First Prize of Guangdong Science and Technology Award (Natural Science).

Speaker: Zhang Yu

Time: 11:00-12:00 a.m.

Title: Key Materials and Devices for Lithium-air Batteries

Brief Introduction to the speaker: Zhang Yu, doctoral supervisor in School of Chemistry, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and recipient of National Outstanding Young Scientists Fund and National Outstanding Young Scientists Fund. He has been devoted to the research of inorganic new energy materials for a long time. In the past 5 years, he has published more than 30 papers in Nat. Chem., Nat. Energy, Adv. Mater., Adv. Funct. Mater., Adv. Energy Mater., Chem, Chem. Soc. Rev., etc. He is currently a member of the Energy Chemistry Committee of Chinese Chemical Society, deputy secretary general of the Nanomaterials and Devices Branch of Chinese Materials Research Society, associate editor-in-chief of Nano Select, advisory editorial board member of Cell Reports Physical Science, editorial board member of ChemPlusChem and eScience, and youth editorial board member of Chemical Journal of Chinese Universities.
