On the afternoon of March 21, Henan Engineering Technology Research Center for Solar Photocatalysis affiliated with the School of Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Engineering, NYNU, was founded. The debut academic conference was conducted by Xie Haiquan, Dean of the School, and all members of the Center were present. Dr Ye Liqun, Director of the Center, gave a lecture about significance, research contents and development of the Center.
The Center, constructed on the basis of long-term research on utilization and conversion of Solar energy, meets the needs of the development at Solar economy in Henan Province, aiming at forging a research contingent with capabilities for independent research and development as well as building up an advanced platform for scientific research and engineering application.
