Supported by the National Unique
Major----Chemistry, Inorganic Chemistry was appointed as the provincial key
discipline in 2012. Owning laboratories with an area of 5,400 square meters,
sixteen large analyzing instruments worth more than thirty million RMB, it has
set up a relatively perfect and advanced platform for scientific research
analysis and tests. The discipline focuses on three unique areas: inorganic
photoelectric functional materials, functional complexes and bioinorganic
chemistry.
Now it has twenty eight members including nine
professors, associate professors, seven lectures. There are also twenty two
PhDs, one Technical Academic Leader of Henan province, one Technical Academic
Leader of the Education Department of Henan province, one Excellent Teacher of
China, and one Excellent Teacher of Henan Province.
In the past three years, the discipline team has
undertaken and completed thirty projects including nine national ones, twenty
one provincial ones and others below provincial level with total funding of
over 8.83 million RMB.
The faculty have published 148 articles, among
which, 115 are in core journals, eighty are collected by the Science Citation
Index or the Engineering Index. They have hosted or participated in editing or
writing two monographs, one college textbook, four teaching notes, and obtained
twelve patents.
