So far, School of Mechatronics Engineering has a faculty of 33, among whom 29 are full-time teaching and research staff members, 2 professors, 4 associate professors, 1senior technician 12 Ph. D holders; 1National Excellent Teacher Award winner; 1Provincial Teaching Model Award winner. The school now has two undergraduate programs: Mechatronic Engineering and Automation; one junior college program: Applied Electronic Technology (Automobile Service Engineering specialties). The next aim of adjustment of program structure is to serve the local construction, offer the Automobile Service Engineering program.

(Ⅰ)Automation
Program Objectives: The program aims to train students’ knowledge, ability and quality comprehensively; make them to master basic theories, basic knowledge and professional skills in automotive field; and become competent to undertake motion control, process control, manufacturing automation systems, automotive equipment and instruments, robot control, intelligent control systems, intelligent transportation, intelligent transportation, IOT, etc., in scientific research institute and corporations.

(Ⅱ)Mechatronics Engineering
Program Objectives: The program aims to train students to master basic theories and basic knowledge in Machinery, Electronics and Process Engineering field; and become competent to undertake designing, manufacturing, R&D, management in mechatronics field.

(Ⅲ)Applied Electronic Technology(Automobile Service Engineering specialties)
This is a 3-year junior college program. The program aims to train students to master the basic theory of modern automotive design and its advanced science and technology, make students become applied engineering and technical talents to undertake applied research and service in automotive engineering field.

The employment direction of Application of electronic technology program is including vehicle design; parts design and development, production maintenance and management in the vehicle parts manufacturing units; management and scheduling of vehicle using, management and operation of vehicle service system in vehicle using units; automotive repair and maintenance, automotive products promotion and market planning, assessment and evaluation of vehicle, auto insurance and claims in vehicle service units.
