Introduction to the Lecturer: Ren Fangbing is a Doctoral Supervisor, Professor at the China Conservatory of Music, Executive Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Music Research, Editorial Board Member of Chinese Art, and Editorial Board Member of Stage Art (Music & Dance) of the Information Center for Social Sciences, Renmin University of China. He is mainly engaged in research on Chinese music history and ethnomusicology. He has led or participated in a number of national and provincial-level research projects, published multiple papers in journals such as Chinese Musicology, authored 5 monographs, and proofread or served as associate editor for 8 books.
