Introduction to the Lecture: In this talk, we discuss the nonlinear Boltzmann equation near Maxwellians in a semi-unbounded domain. We obtain the existence and large time behavior of the solutions.

Introduction to the Lecturer: Professor Yu Hongjun is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Mathematical Sciences, South China Normal University. He has long been engaged in research on nonlinear partial differential equations and has published over 50 papers in major international mathematics journals. In 2007, he received the National Excellent Doctoral Dissertation Award jointly conferred by the Ministry of Education and the Academic Degrees Committee of the State Council.
