[Lecture] Concepts and Practices of Film and Television Sound Art

Report Content: The report zeroes in on the functions and formative impacts of sound elements within the realm of film and television. It encompasses a meticulous conceptual dissection of film and television sound, the establishment of proficient film and television sound creation teams, and a detailed case-by-case elucidation of the film and television sound recording workflow. The overarching aim is to instill a profound understanding of sound aesthetics.

Introduction to the Speaker: Fu Long, Ph.D. supervisor, vice dean of the School of Arts and dean at the School of Music and Recording Arts at the Communication University of China. His MOOC course, From Music to Image, was honored as a national-level first-class online course by the Ministry of Education in 2023. In 2018, he was awarded the second prize in the Public Art Course Exhibition and Evaluation for Regular Institutions of Higher Education.
