Report Introduction: 1. The artistic pursuits and aesthetic orientations of artists in the new era; 2. How to break through the original artistic concepts and traditional aesthetic paradigms; 3. Being adept at learning and utilizing ancient Chinese historical documents, and combining the development of the times to express the spirit of the era, finding ways to transform artistic concepts and behaviors and the path of material language conversion; 4. The basis for dialogue with international culture and the effective dissemination of Chinese culture.

Introduction to the speaker: Wang Zhi graduated from the Oil Painting Department of the Fine Arts Faculty at Inner Mongolia Normal University in 1999, with a Bachelor’s degree, and then graduated from the School of Humanities at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 2006 and 2011, obtaining a Master’s degree and a Doctoral degree. From 2015 to 2021, he was engaged in the research of the history of the appraisal and collection of ancient Chinese calligraphy and painting at the post-doctoral scientific research station of the Palace Museum. He served as a researcher at the Palace Museum and is currently a researcher at the China National Academy of Painting and a member of the China Artists Association. He has published three monographs and dozens of academic papers. He has served as the leader of a sub-project of a major project of the Key Research Base of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education, and has undertaken several projects funded by the National Publishing Fund.
