On March 28, at the invitation of the Law School, Professor Gong Tingtai of Nanjing Normal University gave an academic report titled The Identification and Cultivation of Socialist Rule of Law Culture in the conference room on the third floor of the Science and Technology Building. The academic report was presided over by Deputy Dean Zhao Yixin, with the participation of teachers, graduate students, and undergraduate students.

In the lecture, Professor Gong Tingtai defined the connotation of the identification with the rule of law culture, fully expounded the significant meaning of the identification with the rule of law culture, and deeply analyzed the practical path to cultivate the identification with the rule of law culture. He believes that the rule of law culture gaining universal recognition from citizens is a process, which unfolds progressively along the path of emotional identification → theoretical identification → institutional identification → value identification → behavioral identification.

After the lecture, Professor Gong Tingtai provided special guidance for the faculty of the Law School on the application for National Social Science Fund projects. Professor Gong, combining his own academic experience, interpreted the relevant policies of the National Social Science Fund, the requirements for application preparation, and the review criteria. He also gave a detailed explanation on aspects such as project selection, research ideas, research methods, and innovation, and shared the matters and skills that need attention during the application process. The attending teachers actively interacted and communicated with Professor Gong, who answered meticulously.
