From October 8 to 9, our 2021 freshmen arrived to NYNU. In order to make the international students further understand and experience the life in China, International Office (School of International Education) actively contacted Youth League Committee, Student Affairs Office and other units to carry out welcoming activities in front of Science & Technology Building.
More than twenty international students from eleven countries formed Nanyang Normal University International Student Volunteer Service Group. Wearing red volunteer uniforms, they were busy in helping the new students. Some of them guided vehicles in the intersection according to the planned route, some took the freshmen and parents to find the registration desks, some helped them to carry their luggage, and some brought food or water to freshmen and parents.
The welcoming work of International Student Volunteer Service Group was highly appreciated by the university leaders, teachers and students. This activity aimed to let the international students from all over the world feel the strong affection between freshmen and their parents, and also let the freshmen and their parents know about the achievements and steady improvement of the internationalizing development level of NYNU.
