On July 11th, International Office (School of International Education) organized the international teachers and students to go to Xixia to carry out experiential learning of “Touring Beautiful Countryside” as one of a series of “Traveling around Henan” activities.

In the morning, they visited the Way of Nature Health Management Co., Ltd. of Henan, an alumni enterprise, and Henan Zhongjing Food Co., Ltd., a national leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization, to see the company’s automated production workshop and experience the modern high-tech processing and transformation process of agricultural produce.

In the afternoon, the learning group went to Guangkai Foreign Languages School in Xixia to visit four international students of NYNU who were engaged in volunteer activities there, and held a talk with the leaders of Guangkai Foreign Languages School on future cooperation. The international teachers and students enthusiastically interacted with teachers and students of Guangkai Foreign Languages School and exchanged experience on how to improve language teaching and study, which was positively commented by the teachers and students of Guangkai Foreign Languages School.

This activity enabled the international teachers and students to experience and witness in person the latest achievements in the construction of Chinas beautiful countryside, and made them rediscover Nanyang, their “second hometown”, and gained a deeper understanding of her profound history and culture, abundant resources and rapid economic and social development.
