As a journal of Humanities and Social science, Academic Forum of Nandu (ISSN 1002-6320, CN41-1157/C), formerly named Journal of Nanyang Teachers College before 1987, sponsored by Nanyang Normal University was founded in 1981 and published to the public at home and abroad in 1989. It is a bimonthly magazine with 124 pages, A4 paper size published on 10, per odd month. The columns of the journal include some researches on Han culture, history, contemporary literature, ancient literature, law, politics and society, economy and management. It focuses on frontier theories and hot academic issues and its article adoption emphasizes “academy and quality”. The quantity of its articles cited by authoritative magazines like Xinhua Abstract has ranked the first in the same-level journals all over the country 13 years in row. It makes the journal establish a good reputation. The journal has won a very large number of prizes and it was selected five times as one of the top 100 social science journals from all institutions of higher learning inChinaand it was on the list of core periodicals among all the journals of humanities and social science inChina. It became the source periodical of the photocopying materials of Renmin University of China and the CHSSCD of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and it was the extended journal of AMI. Since its foundation, Academic Forum of Nandu has published innovative articles performing a whole-hearted service for the academic innovation and become an important show window for carrying the spirit of academic innovation to new heights.
