From May 27th to 29th, the renowned vocal educator, doctoral supervisor at the Central Conservatory of Music, and our university’s distinguished professor, Zhao Dengying, provided guidance and teaching to the faculty and students of the School of Music. Professor Zhao introduced advanced vocal performance concepts from both domestic and international perspectives, combining his own accumulated teaching and performing experiences over more than forty years. In a public class titled Vocal Teaching and Practical Training, he helped teachers and students identify difficulties in actual performance, provided one-on-one targeted training, corrected mistakes, and improved skills, from which both teachers and students greatly benefited. On the evening of May 29th, Professor Zhao Dengying held a vocal teaching concert in the Central Music Hall. Professor Zhao’s visit to our university to give lectures has been beneficial in enhancing the teaching and performing levels of our vocal music teachers, greatly stimulating the enthusiasm for scientific research among teachers and students, and promoting the construction of our university’s musicology discipline and professional development.
