[Lecture] Environmental Monitoring Capacity Construction and Innovation under the New Situation

Abstract: Aiming at the needs of the country and focusing on the problem of lagging capacity building in environmental monitoring, the report discusses the innovation and development of monitoring capacity, highlighting the technical requirements of new methods and new standards innovation.

Introduction to the speaker: Zhang Yong, Professor, PhD Supervisor of Xiamen University, member of AMETEC Academic Steering Committee of APEC, member of POPs First Professional Committee of Chinese Society of Environmental Sciences. He has been mainly engaged in the environmental behavior of environmental organic pollutants, environmental monitoring, molecular luminescence analysis, imaging analysis, the establishment of new instruments and new methods, marine environmental science, ecotoxicology and environmental forensic science research. He has presided over and participated in the completion of 33 national, provincial and ministerial fund projects, and published more than 230 papers in domestic and foreign academic journals.
